About the Event ::  Beneficiaries

The Atlanta Steeplechase, Inc. (a tax exempt organization Section 501 (c) 3 of the U.S. tax code) announces two new beneficiaries, Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation of Atlanta and the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine.

Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation of Atlanta is dedicated to improving the quality of life for Georgia’s children who suffer from chronic, serious or life-threatening illnesses as well as debilitating injuries. Starlight offers in-hospital and out-patient programs to directly address the many challenges of over 35,000 sick children and their families statewide.

The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine promotes the art and science of veterinary medicine through the education of tomorrow’s veterinarians, research in animal diseases, and service to the public. Proceeds from the Atlanta Steeplechase will go toward building a much needed new hospital for animals and supporting the educational programs of the College.

The Atlanta Steeplechase souvenir beneficiary is the American Red Cross, Coosa Valley Chapter.

Friends of the Steeplechase

Special Equestrians of Georgia provides therapeutic riding activities to children and adults with mental, physical, behavioral and developmental disabilities.
