The Hat Contest: from Beautiful to Whimsical

Linda Pecchio, 2007 first prize winner of the “Most Beautiful” hat contest, won two round trip tickets to anywhere Air Tran flies, plus a $100 Nordstrom's gift certificate! Karen Morgan and Susan Waters were second and third place “beautiful” hat contest winners. The champions of the “Most Whimsical” hat first, second and third places were Krista Roper, Susan Thompson and Renee Brown. The “Children’s” line up raised the standards for years to come with many strong entries, but the winners were: in first place, the fetching hat for three (Kate Williams, Elizabeth Williams, Whitney Stevenson), along with second place winner Nina Mares and Elizabeth Kaseta earning third.
